Galvanized Steel Coil is meticulously designed to prevent corrosion on the surface of steel plates, thereby extending their service life. The process involves coating the steel plate with a layer of metallic zinc, resulting in what is known as a galvanized sheet. Utilizing cold-rolled steel coil as the substrate, this continuous hot-dip method ensures a firm adhesion of the coating to the steel. This is achieved through an iron-zinc alloy bonding layer formed during the diffusion process when the heated steel strip makes contact with molten zinc. However, one limitation of galvanized steel is that if the zinc coating isscratched off, theunderlying steel is left unprotected and vulnerable to failure. Despite this, galvanized steel boasts excellent corrosion resistance, paintability, and workability, thanks to the unique properties of zinc.
Based on the zinc spangle surface, galvanized coil can be categorized into two types: with spangle and without spangle.

The production and processing of galvanized steel coils consist of an intricate 3-step procedure designed to achieve a pristine and robust product finish. First, the entire coil undergoes pickling to eradicate rust and impurities, resulting in a gleaming, clean surface. Post-pickling, it is meticulously cleaned in an aqueous solution containing ammonium chloride, zinc chloride, or a blend of both. Finally, the coil is immersed into a hot-dip plating tank for the galvanizing process, after which it is carefully packaged and stored, ready for distribution.
