Galvalume Steel CoilOur aluminum-zinc plated steel sheets feature a distinctive, smooth, and flat surface adorned with an ornate starburst pattern and a silvery-white base. The coating comprises 55% aluminum, 43.4% zinc, and 1.6% silicon by weight, ensuring robust protection. AFP Galvalume Coil This composite coated coil, treated for fingerprint resistance, is produced through a continuous melt coating process, similar to galvanized and aluminized steel sheets. With superior corrosion resistance, 55% Al-Zinc alloy coated steel outperforms galvanized steel of the same thickness in similar environments, offering outstanding adhesion and flexibility.

The primary concern regarding 55% Al-Zn alloy coated steel sheets has been the corrosion of cut surfaces. However, over 15 months of diverse environmental testing have shown that zinc-aluminum coated steel sheets exhibit excellent corrosion resistance even at the section level, completely alleviating user concerns.
