To safeguard the steel plate's surface from corrosion and prolong its service life, a layer of metallic zinc is applied, creating what is known as a galvanized sheet. Using cold rolled steel coil as substrates, the continuous hot-dip process ensures that the coating adheres firmly to the steel. This is achieved through an iron-zinc alloy bonding layer formed by diffusion while the heated steel strip contacts the molten zinc.scratched off thesteel, the steel becomes unprotected and susceptible to failure. However, it offers remarkable corrosion resistance, paintability, and workability thanks to zinc's properties.
Based on the surface zinc spangle, galvanized coils can be categorized into those with spangle and those without spangle.

Hot Dipped Galvanized Steel Coil Production

The production and processing of galvanized steel coils can be summarized in three meticulous steps: First, the entire coil undergoes a thorough pickling process to eliminate rust and contaminants, resulting in a pristine and gleaming surface for the steel strip. Next, the coil is cleansed in an aqueous solution composed of ammonium chloride, zinc chloride, or a blend of both. Finally, it is immersed into a hot-dip plating tank, where the galvanizing process takes place. Once this process is complete, the galvanized steel coils are ready for storage and packaging.
