Galvanized Steel Coil is designed to prevent steel plate surfaces from corroding and to prolong their service life. The steel plate is coated with a layer of metallic zinc through a continuous hot-dip process, creating a galvanized sheet. This method ensures the zinc coating adheres firmly to the steel via an iron-zinc alloy bonding layer formed during the diffusion process when the heated steel strip contacts the molten zinc. One minor drawback is that if the zinc coating isscratched off,the steel is left unprotected and vulnerable to failure. Nonetheless, it offers excellent corrosion resistance, paintability, and workability, thanks to the inherent properties of zinc.
Depending on the surface zinc spangle, it can be categorized into galvanized coil with spangle or without spangle.

The production and processing of galvanized steel coils encompass three meticulous steps: initially, the entire coil undergoes a thorough pickling procedure to eliminate rust and impurities, ensuring a brilliantly clean and bright surface on the steel strip; following this, it is immersed in an aqueous solution of ammonium chloride or zinc chloride, or a combination of both, for further purification before being directed to the hot-dip plating tank for the galvanizing process; once the galvanizing process is accomplished, the coils are prepared for storage and packaging.
