Prepainted galvalume steel coils feature galvalume/aluzinc (AZ20 -275gsm) as their core. Before coating, the raw material undergoes meticulous pretreatment: cleaning to eliminate impurities, degreasing, and composite oxidation with passivation processes. It is then beautifully coated with PE, SMP, or PVDF paint, followed by baking to solidify for enhanced durability. Ideal for corrosive and coastal environments, these coils promise remarkable resilience and longevity.
Substrate Type
1. Hot-dip galvanized steel sheet: Renowned for its excellent impact performance and superb elongation and yield value, this substrate is lauded in construction and decoration industries for its reliable quality in color steel sheets.
2. Hot-dip aluminum-zinc-plated steel sheet: While its production process mirrors that of the galvanized steel sheet, the key difference lies in the zinc layer content and the distinct zinc flower pattern. Its superior weather resistance and longevity make it a preferred choice over traditional galvanized steel.
3: Aluminum: Known for its high cost, aluminum is reserved for specialized industries like refrigeration, insulation, and sterilization. With outstanding impact performance, it caters to both tangible and intangible applications, offering excellent bending flexibility.
4. Cold rolled sheet: Not annealed, this steel also serves as the precursor to galvanized and aluminum zinc-plated steel. Despite its low impact performance and high material hardness, it boasts excellent welding capabilities.
