Galvanized steel coil is one of our best-selling products, celebrated for its cost-effectiveness, durability, and smooth aesthetic appeal. Easily painted and user-friendly, it is available in big, regular, small, and zero spangles. This product boasts lightweight construction, aesthetic charm, and exceptional corrosion resistance. Thus, GI coil has become a favored material across a variety of industries, including construction, shipbuilding, vehicle manufacturing, furniture production, and home appliances.

Galvanized Steel Coil is engineered to prevent corrosion on steel surfaces, thereby extending the service life of the steel plate. This is achieved by coating the steel plate with a layer of metallic zinc, resulting in what is known as a galvanized sheet. Utilizing cold-rolled steel coil as substrates through a continuous hot-dip process, this method ensures the coating adheres tightly to the steel. An iron-zinc alloy bonding layer is formed through a diffusion process while the heated steel strip contacts molten zinc. One drawback of galvanized steel is that if the zinc coating isscratched off,the steel underneath is left unprotected, becoming susceptible to failure. Nonetheless, galvanized steel offers excellent corrosion resistance, paintability, and workability, thanks to the beneficial properties of zinc.
Depending on the surface zinc spangle, galvanized coils can be categorized as those with spangle or without spangle.

Following pickling, the coil is meticulously cleaned in an aqueous solution of ammonium chloride or zinc chloride, or a combination of both, preparing it for the subsequent hot-dip galvanizing process.
