Galvalume Steel CoilAluminum-zinc plated steel sheets feature a distinctive smooth, flat, and ornate starburst surface, available in a silvery-white base color. The coating comprises 55% aluminum, 43.4% zinc, and 1.6% silicon by weight. AFP Galvalume Coil AFP Galvalume Coil is a sophisticated composite coated coil treated for fingerprint resistance. The Al-Zinc plated steel sheet undergoes a continuous melt coating process, similar to that of galvanized and aluminized steel sheets. With a 55% Al-Zinc coating, it offers superior corrosion resistance compared to galvanized steel of the same thickness, and also exhibits excellent adhesion and flexibility.

Since its commercialization, the corrosion of the cut surfaces of 55% Al-Zn alloy coated Al-Zn steel sheets has been a major concern. However, after over 15 months of rigorous testing in diverse environments, it has been demonstrated that zinc-aluminum coated steel sheets exhibit outstanding corrosion resistance even at the sectional level, thoroughly alleviating user concerns.
