Galvalume Steel Coil Aluminum-zinc plated steel sheets have a characteristic smooth, flat and ornate starburst surface with a silvery-white base color. The coating composition consists of 55% aluminum, 43.4% zinc and 1.6% silicon by weight. The production process of Al-Zinc plated steel sheet is similar to that of galvanized and aluminized steel sheet, which is a continuous melt coating process. 55% Al-Zinc alloy coated Al-Zinc plated steel sheet has superior corrosion resistance compared to galvanized steel sheet of the same thickness when exposed to the same environment on both sides. 55% Al-Zinc alloy coated Al-Zinc plated steel sheet not only has good corrosion resistance, but also has excellent adhesion and flexibility.
The corrosion of the cutting surface of 55% Al-Zn alloy coated Al-Zn steel sheet is the biggest concern of the users since the commercialization of Al-Zn steel sheet. However, after more than 15 months of experience in various environments, it has been proven that the corrosion resistance of zinc-aluminum coated steel sheets is excellent even at the section level, thus completely eliminating the user's concerns.

The long-term corrosion resistance of metal plating products mainly depends on the melting rate of the plated material and the thickness of the plating, the melting rate of the galvanized layer of galvanized steel sheet is higher than that of the 55% Al-Zn alloy plated Al-Zn steel sheet.
