Galvanized Steel Coil is expertly crafted to prevent corrosion on the surface of the steel plate, thus significantly prolonging its service life. The steel plate is coated with a layer of metallic zinc, producing what is known as a galvanized sheet. Utilizing cold rolled steel coil as substrates, the continuous hot-dip process ensures a firm adhesion of the coating to the steel. This involves an iron-zinc alloy bonding layer formed through a diffusion process as the heated steel strip encounters molten zinc. However, one limitation is that if the Zinc coating isscratched off,the underlying steel is exposed and vulnerable to failure. Nevertheless, galvanized steel boasts excellent corrosion resistance, paintability, and workability owing to zinc's inherent qualities.
Depending on the surface zinc spangle, galvanized coil can be categorized into variants with spangle and those without spangle.
