Galvalume Steel CoilOur aluminum-zinc plated steel sheets feature a smooth, flat, and ornate starburst surface with a silvery-white base color. The coating composition includes 55% aluminum, 43.4% zinc, and 1.6% silicon by weight. AFP Galvalume Coil This is a composite coated coil treated with fingerprint-resistant technology on the surface of galvalume sheets. The production process mirrors that of galvanized and aluminized steel sheets, involving a continuous melt coating process. The 55% Al-Zn alloy coated sheets offer superior corrosion resistance compared to similar thickness galvanized sheets, alongside excellent adhesion and flexibility.

Since the commercialization of Al-Zn steel sheets, users have been concerned about the corrosion of the cut surfaces. However, extensive testing over more than 15 months in various environments has proven the exemplary corrosion resistance of zinc-aluminum coated sheets, even at the section level, thus alleviating any user concerns.
