Galvanized Steel Coil is meticulously designed to prevent surface corrosion, thereby extending the steel plate’s service life. This is achieved by coating the surface with a layer of metallic zinc. The zinc-coated steel plate, also known as a galvanized sheet, is produced using cold-rolled steel coil as substrates through a continuous hot-dip process. This method ensures a strong adhesion of the coating to the steel, thanks to an iron-zinc alloy bonding layer formed during the contact of the heated steel strip with the molten zinc.One potential drawback of galvanized steel is that if the zinc coating isscratched off, the underlying steel is left exposed and vulnerable to failure. Nonetheless, galvanized steel offers exceptional corrosion resistance, paintability, and workability due to the protective properties of zinc.
Depending on the zinc spangle's surface appearance, galvanized coil can be categorized into those with spangle or without spangle.

The production and processing of galvanized steel coils involves a meticulous three-step process: First, the entire coil undergoes pickling to eradicate rust and impurities, achieving a pristine and gleaming surface on the galvanized steel strip. Following this, it is cleansed in an aqueous solution of ammonium chloride or zinc chloride, or a combination of the two, ensuring thorough preparation.
