This method ensures excellent protection as the steel interacts with molten zinc. However, one limitation is that if the zinc coating isscratched off,the underlying steel becomes exposed and vulnerable to failure. Despite this, galvanized steel boasts remarkable corrosion resistance, paintability, and workability, thanks to the inherent properties of zinc.
Depending on the surface zinc spangle, galvanized coil can be categorized into spangled or non-spangled types.
