Comprising 55% aluminum, 43.4% zinc, and 1.6% silicon by weight, the coating offers superior composition. The Al-Zinc plated steel sheet is produced using a continuous melt coating process similar to galvanized and aluminized steel sheets. Notably, the 55% Al-Zinc alloy coated sheet boasts superior corrosion resistance compared to galvanized steel of the same thickness when exposed to identical environments on both sides.
