Galvalume Steel CoilAluminum-zinc plated steel sheets are characterized by their smooth, flat, and aesthetically pleasing starburst surface, set against a silvery-white base. Their coating composition includes 55% aluminum, 43.4% zinc, and 1.6% silicon by weight. AFP Galvalume Coil This composite coated coil, enhanced with a fingerprint-resistant treatment on its surface, is produced using a continuous melt coating process similar to galvanized and aluminized steel sheets. The 55% Al-Zinc alloy coated steel sheet boasts superior corrosion resistance compared to galvanized steel of the same thickness, offering excellent adhesion and flexibility along with outstanding corrosion protection even in harsh environments.

Since the commercialization of Al-Zn steel sheets, there has been a prevalent concern regarding the corrosion of its cutting surface. However, after extensive testing over 15 months in various environments, it has been conclusively proven that zinc-aluminum coated steel sheets exhibit remarkable corrosion resistance, even at the section level, fully alleviating any user concerns.
